For me personally, I love it because I feel free. Good way to let off some frustration or to just get some much needed "me" time.
I like the benefits that a sportsbike gives ya, e.g. the handling and speed. I've ridden truckloads of bikes, including cruisers. I agree with you about "freedom", but personally I can get that from any bike.
I just love being able to go fast... lets me free my mind
I may need Men for somethings, but ridin' isn't one

The sound, the power, being able to handle such a big fucking machine.
being able to handle a bigger bike than most men can, getting looks of "I can't believe she's on a bike that BIG", feeling of freedom and the adrenaline rush - and also being able to clear my mind of all the stress and worries in life - even if just for a few minutes
