It just comes down to personal preference. I use FF more then Google Chrome. They're both good web browsers. They both render pages faster than IE8 in the milliseconds

but overall they both feel more responsive than IE8.
I use FF because there's a lot more plug-ins for it than Chrome and I'm just more familiar with FF than Chrome. However, the amount of plug-ins for Chrome is increasing every month.
The biggest downside to Firefox is that it can hog memory. Over the course of several hours it can use +300mb of RAM. The latest version has reduced the amount of RAM it uses but it still experiences this problem. It's just a simple solution of restarting the browser. I don't know if Chrome has this problem or how severe the RAM usage after several hours of browsing.
