FF or Chrome are not installed over or in place of IE (hopefully you're using IE8 at least). They are separate programs. You can run them side-by-side if you wanted to... |

Your provider shouldn't have siht to do with it.... All ya should have to do is down load and install it....

im not sure i got the icon on my putter and the top of my page looks diffrent im not sure if it's working or not.i use yahoo as a home page does that matter. 6hrs  |

Are you this computer illiterate?  Did you already install the program..? Does the browser look anything like this...?
Does it say Google Chrome or Internet Explorer in the task bar? What version of Windows are you using...?

the very top of the page looks like that but there is no big GOOGLE in the right hand corner..

I updated the picture in the previous post to show the current version of Google Chrome.
Click on the wrench. If you see "About Google Chrome" as one of the options then you are running Google Chrome.
Your taskbar should also tell you that you're running Google Chrome. |
