Re: which one
Depends on what kind of riding you plan on doing. Those boots will protect your feet and ankles in a crash but are far from being comfortable to walk in for stroll at the mall.
For trackdays & spirited rides I'll wear my Sidi Vertigo Corsas, for street rides or commuting I wear my Icon Standard boot.

Re: which one
+1 on the a* S-MX. Pretty comfy. I also have a pair of Sidi Evo Strada. Those Falco's look like a nice blend of in between.

To be honest no you really don't have to wear boots when you ride....Is it smart, maybe not but there is that possibility of coming off. The boot I carry called the Novo, up in the picture is what everyone loves to wear when they ride and then start there day at work. It feels like a shoe, easy to get in and out of (one buckle) and nice and light weight. The buckle comes over the ankle so there is good protection, and you can wear them all day long.
Falco boots are make in Italy, warranty and all. I won't disappoint!

Re: which one
The important thing when looking for a casual riding shoe/boot is ankle protection, security, non-slipping sole, and a shifter pad area helps too.
