seen that on discovery channel the dude is seriously bad ass. He explained why he chose an R1 for that type of touring. He said he just loves the bike and the power it has. R1's are gnarly for sure. I totally envy that guy

wait i dont think those are the same guys. The dude in the pic looks like he's on an '04...the youtube guy is on an older R1. Plus has all that luggage.

Yeah, this guy's awesome. He's out there livin' fer shur! Love seeing the bike in the canoe, being pushed out of the swamp and then flushing the mud out of the exhaust can, yeah, all of it!
