Re: stand up q?e?t?n
Best thing to do is what Knox said and take it legal. Big ol' lot with plenty of space and just play with throttle, clutch and brake control. It took me bout 3 months of "practice" if you would call it that. That to me was being bored outta my gourd just normal riding. There was plenty of open roads to just crack it up. Just show respect to fellow drivers and dont piss people off or you will have 5-0 trouble. I have not had a single problem with cops riding wheelies.
I learned by sit downs first shifting through the gears and learning the lil thing known as point of balance. Keeping your foot on the rear brake is a most, practice by giving some pressure and get a feel of how that will save you incase you crank it farther back.
I then learned to stand up. I did standups alot different starting out. I cracked it up in a sit down and just pulled my body up with the bike. It felt alot easier then standing up and clutching it up. once you do that and got the feeling for balance you can ride them for miles! If your getting tired just move your left leg to the rear peg and that will take a good load off your legs and arms.
Just play around with it. start small and work up take baby steps and stay relaxed. You be rocking mile wheelies in no time!!
As for Evoboy, like every one said lean the way you wanna go and be steady with the throttle if you dont want a shakey bike

That is exactly how i started and last nite was the first time i put my left foot on the rear peg and it was so much easier to get the bike in the balance point and a lot more comfortable!

Now if I slide my ass all the way to the back of my seat and run it till about 6-7k rpms let off compress the front wheel then as I pull back and throttle it, it will come up quick but I haven't found my "sweet spot" yet for keeping it up and balancing it out their. And usually I run out of rpms or road.

if you are running out of rpms, your front end isnt high enough, so your back tire is trying to catch up to your front tire instead of being right under it. sit downs are easier to loop than stand ups...if i were you, i would stand staggered and learn to use your clutch. know where your rear brake is and wear gear too

Then your not at balance point. In the video he is able to keep it smooth riding that point. also I may be mistaking but he is getting on the interstate so im thinking his front end is a lil lower so he can gain some speed

yeah i guess higher speed would also make for a lower balance point (front tire of the ground) ????

+84425 on wat they said... also...
Lower your rear tire pressure and then lean. The slower you are goin, the less lean u gotta do.. Key is to keep the tire up higher
