March Member Spotlight STUNTER2B
Our Member Spotlight for March 08 is Stunter2B-
Name:Marc Potvin
Location: Originally for Ottawa, Canada but now living in Shreveport Louisiana.
Bike:1986 gsxr750, 1990 gsxr750, 1996 Ninja 750 & RM125 Suzuki but all sold since it was too much of a pain in the ass to bring them with me in the states.
Years riding:22 years on the streets and 25 years in the dirt.
Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a die hard fan of sport bikes and will drive one until the day I die, I can't wait to be able to put my 2 year old girl on a dirt bike..Basically I live for my wife, kids and riding bikes, I dream about stunting & riding each night.
What do you enjoy most about riding? The power & acceleration, the ability to start and stop on a dime..And oh yes the freedom.
What if any modifications have you had done? The Rm is ported and polish 30mm oversized, the Ninja has Bigger carbs, race cams, pipe and oversized 60 mm wiseco kit, sprockets -1/+2 on a 525 set up....and the 2 other gixxers are stock...
Do you have any advice for other riders out there? I think everyone should take a drivers course and then head out to the race track and learn from the pros, I learned more in 2 days on the race track then I did in 10 years on the streets...

I sold allll my bikes when I moved to USA since it was too expensive to ship here..

Well once I have my work visa I will be looking for the best deal I can get wanting more a 600cc or 750 plan is to ride that for 1 year...then if I can finance a brand new gixxer 1k...I will convert that 600 or 750 to a full out stunt bike.. |
