Front Sprocket Problems

Ok, Knox you might be able to help me out here. I got all my new front and rear sprocket as well as chain, I take the cover off that house's the front sprocket and their is like a allen head bolt with a semi bolt pattern to it that is blocking the actually sprocket bolt and the 32 mm socket will not go over this allen head jig??? any suggestions?

think its a 6mm allen head...you need a socket allen head to loosen up because it is loc tited on there. if you still cant get it...may wanna find a pipe or a breaker bar for leverage. also helps if you tighten it a little first to loosen the loctite then loosen it.

yeah its a 6mm, and it is righty tighty lefty loosey? right? or is it backwards?

counter clock wise = loosen's
clock wise = tightens?

try using pb blaster it a penatrating catalist its like 3 or 4 dollars just spray it on the bolt and it should help break it freev oh and turn clockwise to tighten and counter to loosen

I just put the bike in gear and had the old lady hold the rear brake and lostened the allen bolt that way.

putting it in gear could (more times than not wont, but still) quirk the tranny. i just put a block of wood thru the rim and wedge it between the spoke and the swingarm...wont go anywhere

yeah my dude lol, the only place that there was Loc-tite was on the 32mm bolt and it came off fairly easy. Now I yanked a welders sledge hammer from work so I can put the chain on the way you told me
