Busa Or Gsx-r
Which would you say is better for bottom end speed. Like a quick off the start. Now when I say this I mean bone stock. I know the Busa has the higher top end. The reason Im asking is because its a throw up for me. Im eather gonna buy the busa or the gsx-r.

Alright you all have given good suggestion. I made my decission. The gsx-r but not the 750 the 1k. Now for performance upgrades. I was thinking turbo with nos. Then bore it out.

well my first hand experiance was on Sunday. Me and about 15 other riders from my club left from Fresno to Los Angeles. About a 3 hour ride.
Anyways, there were lot's of straight stretches along the 99 fwy. It was myself, on my 'o5 GSXR 1K, my buddy on his 'o6 GSXR 1K, a guy on the 'o6 Kawi ZX10r, and 2 guys on Busa's that kept on having fun getting up to 150+.
Now this is the honest truth.. That Kawi zx10r is no joke. we all started in 3rd gear and that bike out pulled us all, even me with my fully mapped power commander. However once i was around 9K RPM in 4th gear i caught up and pulled on him. The guy on the 'o6 GSXR 1K was able to catch up to the Kawi, however he never pulled away, they pretty much stayed even. As for the Busa's..... ya they didn't catch up to the other 2 (zx10r, GSXR 1K) untill about 150 miles an hour, and didn't catch me untill i hit about 165+. then it past me and kept pulling. once my boy passed me at 168 i stayed on for another few seconds that busa just kept pulling away.
So if you're talking 1/4 mile races. the Kawi zx10r and the GSXR 1K is the way to go. The Busa, would be better in a mile race.

What about off the line? 1k's wheelie pretty easy. When I had my 12r the busa's always pulled me off the mark by going forward when I was going up.....
