Bike wont start back up. makin a weird noise - Page 2

I had a strange noise coming from the left side of the bike (like you) (2002 ,gsx-r 750), kind of a rattling, sometimes whinning sound, sometimes there, sometimes not... It ended up being a loose stator bolt that was grinding against the rotor. You might wanna check that out since it's pretty simple; Just open the left crank case cover, no need to flush the oil, only a little will come out but no biggie...Check the three bolts holding the stator to the cover, make sure they are tight. can you not turn the bike on and get the FI codes? if you couldnt shift its likely a clutch/shift fork issue since the clutch lever/cable were obviously working. was the bike reving redline on its own or was it b/c you pulled the clutch and tried to shift with your hand on the throttle?

found the issue. i busted the clutch basket up in like a million pieces and plus my oil was a lil on the nasty side. from what we found out i need a new basket ,gasket,oil filter,plates and springs. i have my 03 600 motor does any kno if those parts are interchangable for the 750? heres 2 pics of what it looks like. damn i dont kno how i i did that

01-03 600/750 are interchangeable.

knox as many things as u have answered for me regarding my bike or stunt ridng i might have to pay you for consultaion!!! cuz i got da 600 motor in my storage jus been sittin there. i would think they would interchanged since its jus da clutch stuff. ima check it in the morning when i go out to storage to make sure i got the parts still on there.....yall are my heroes

here the update today. called 3 suzuki shops today. 2 said no the basket is different and other place said yea. this is all according to suzuki part numbers. said "part number" wise the fiber plaets,metal plates,and basket are different, BUT according to "part number" the pressure plates,springs,and inner hub are the same. then askin shops around here in dallas said all the stuff is interchangable for the 600 and 750 for my year is da same!!! what da heck man!! i dont kno what to do. think we gona try the 600 stuff first and see what happens. if it does work i wander if it affects performance ?

most shops only go by part numbers to keep from making a mistake. if the part numbers arent the same they say it isnt interchangeable. but the 03 600/750 are the same bike

my tank and pump i bought from that guy ( Tee you know) were diffrent part numbers 600 to a 750 but everything was fine
