Re: 2010 Yamaha YZF-R6
I had 2 R6s before my 750 K8. Both were awesome bikes. If yamaha still made a 750, i would buy it.

Re: 2010 Yamaha YZF-R6
I like being one with the bike that's how I feel on the gsxr. The r6 I feel like I'm leaning up and over the bars. (recently purchased gsx 600 overthe r6). Does anyone else feel that way or is it just me?

Its not you, it's how the bike was designed. The ergonomics for the R6 are track oriented. That forward seating position makes easier for the rider transition from side to side in the bike. Great for trackdays or racing. Not souvh for street riding.

Re: 2010 Yamaha YZF-R6
i raced a 09 R6 and then rode it. the bike had a pipe and the rest was stock. we raced a 2nd gear pull, by the time i smaked rev limiter in 4th(no bullshit) i had 50 yard lead on him. we got to the gas statin and i asked him what happened and his reply was " Dude this thing is effin slow it doesnt get going till around 10k then it shits and gets" but it was a comfy ride but ill stick with zooookies

Re: 2010 Yamaha YZF-R6
I was considering a new R6 before I bought my Gixxer-6. What put me off was the colour schemes available on the new bikes at the time. I really liked the 'white/red' colours of the 06/07 R6's but the 08's were not to my liking (or was it the 09's?). When I first saw my Gixxer-6, I wanted it. It's a bit sad but my decision was more or less based on looks!
