Re: 2009 gixxer 1000
Why can't I view the pics? I guess I'm in "time-out".....It says I don't have "sufficient privileges". What's up with that?

I’m with you^^. I like the white color scheme but the shape of the actual bike does not do anything for me. I am being bias though cause I love my 03 the feel, look and everything about her. oh and i still want to know why my bike does not have a cold start lever/choke like ur 600 does. hehe sorry i had too.

I think it's tight! why are they always putting ugly pipes on them? They gotta know people always change them! Those engineers can surely come up with something better.... but don't!!

Re: 2009 gixxer 1000
Its most likely because the bike has to appeal to the Euro and Asian markets too. And I guess they're just attracted to big whale dicks on thier bikes

I agree I think the best looking Gixxer's are the 01-03!!! Like you said the shape is not doing anything for me especially the front clip from the side Oh and don't get me started again on the "Choke" subject

Re: 2009 gixxer 1000
Not bad, aside from the already stated changing of the exhaust it would look a lot better.

Re: 2009 gixxer 1000
I dig it. I just can't imagine that they are making a street version faster than its predecessor... My gawd, how fast does this thing need to be?!?!? I love the looks, & as for the cans, who cares what they look like? With all the emission standards and EPA regs, they should spend less money on how to make the cans look good since they know we're all just gonna dump 'em anyways! Even if they looked and sounded sick, we'd all get new ones just to be different. Yeah?
